DIY: How to Waterproof Your Shoes With Beeswax

Did you know that you can winterize and waterproof all your favorite wearable?

Here’s a ridiculously easy way to waterproof your canvas shoes using nothing but beeswax and a blowdryer.

Materials you will need:

– beeswax;

– blow dryer;

– shoes! (in this article Toms)

The beeswax also stiffens up your shoes a little bit but they will be still comfy, just need a little re-break-in.

How to do that?

1) Rub the beeswax over the entirety of the shoe. You can use rubber gloves to keep your hands clean.

2) Use a blow dryer to seal the deal then melt the wax all over the shoe then let set for about 5 min.s before wearing! 

3) Final step: splash a little water to test out your new waterproof shoes.
